My family is partial to frogs..did you row up with them?
Happy Belated First Save the Frogs Day as declared by our world's scientists.
The world's scientists are calling on us to help save our frogs.
According to the Save the Frogs Foundation in Centerville,Va.:
"one third of the 6,317 species are n the brink of extinction."
the chybrid fungus is known to be deadly . It prohibits the amphibians' skin to absorb
water and oxygen. No known cure exists.
Habitat destruction, over-harvesting for the pet market and pesticides are known threats.
What do you think we can do to help?
Do you think we can stop using so much pesticide/ Do you think we can grow vanishing species int eh lab? they are trying to do that..but what do you think?
