China's mine workers successfully rescued

One hundred and fifteen miners were rescued from the worst disaster that they ever experienced
this month. These miners were said to have strapped themselves to shaft walls for eight days and nights and later to have jumped into mining carts. Some were said to have eaten wood from the poles in the mine.When the Wangiialing mine was flooded with water rescuers heard taps on the pipes. They frantically pumped the water out and sent glucose injections down to the miners.
Amazing! I wonder if we could learn something from how these miners were freed...
