Scientific American is marvelous.

"one quare mile at a time".
Smit , according to Little, has fought the putting to fire and destruction of Borneo for tqwenty years. His partners in the project are 600 families of the Dayak tribe in the province of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. He calls this "the people's forest" says Little. He has not submitted his project for public review.
Borneo is coming in as the third largest island ; wiht 15,00 plant species, 222 mammal
species adn hundreds or fish.
Would you go there?
