Patrick Swayze has died: Please leave comments

Patrick Swayze was 57. He died of pancreatic cancer after a brave and arduous battle wiht the disease.

Mr. Swayze attended the Joffrey School of Ballet and he had danced for Disney on Parade.
He was in the first Broadway production of "Grease."
He received a Golden Globe for his role as a dance instructor "Johnny Castle" in" Dirty Dancing"
in 1987. He received a second nomination for his portrayal of the ghost "Sam Wheat" in "Ghost" in 1990.
He was a solidly established box star throughout the nineties.
He was always in love with his wife. Family meant the world to him.

My Daughter was listening to the radio this morning and told me of this and then I read such here in this place, your place. Spooky. They always say the good die young and he gave so much joy to many people. We should be thankful we at least had that.
Everyone I talk to goes on about 'Dirty Dancing' but for me his portrayal in 'Ghost' wins hands down.
